About once a year I’m reminded how handy the V-Carve Pro “Plate Production” tool is…

Very nice work Steve , what type of material is that? I showed that to a teacher friend and he hinted it would be a nice donation to the school in our town . Thanks Jeff:)

Jeff…
I had some Sintra left over from another job so I ran these for the teachers at my wife’s school. I did the job gratis, but they were seen by all their friends who wanted some. The second “run” was rather profitable!
I V-carved the text with a 60° bit, filled the lettering with heavy artists acrylic and wiped the top with a damp cloth. After the acrylic was thoroughly dry, a buffing with a knit rag removed any leftover paint film.
I’m not sure my choice of material was the best, but it was leftover and “free”.

Scott…
Not sure, the spool of lace (150’) wasn’t full to start with and still has some left on it!
