View Full Version : Replace Zero Plate Wires

Can anyone tell me how to remove/replace wires going into the 'clip' shown in the attached photo. I need to replace the 2 coiled wires used with the zero plate, and they both tie into this piece.

Nat There is a wago connector tool to do this , easily

You may be able to push with a small screw driver from the top , I have never tried this tho

Shopbot has them

Thanks very much Bob. I'll give it a go with a small screwdriver and see if that does it.

Nat,

They're not hard to remove with a jeweler's screwdriver, but be careful not to bend the tabs too much, or they could break or not hold on re-insertion.

Thanks I'll fiddle around with it tomorrow, and see if I can get the wires out fairly easily.

I'm having zero luck getting the wires back into the connector. Am I able to bypass it entirely, as whatever plugs into it isn't something I'll ever use?
