Here’s something kind of related...
We were on Galveston Island this last week... While shopping the “Strand” my wife pulled me over to look at some wood watches. I thought she was wanting me to make her something “like” them and was relieved when I figured out she wanted to buy one... I gladly bought her one and felt like I had dodged a bullet!
