After going back and forth the wife consented to the more expensive version after i told her we could take it apart and store it flat and take it with them for their move in a few years.

Can't believe nobody has jumped in and said "Oh LOOK! It's the House That Jack Built!"
(Too bad it's full of perfect 90 degree angles:)
Ya Done Good Jack!:)

I am sure the chickens will be happy. We get our egg fresh just down the road but their coop is not as nice.

Very nice! But how do the chickens open the entrance door without hands?

That's pretty darn funny Jack! Are you going to let them free range and just coop them at night?
Good looking set up. I think you need a wiggly woggly ramp up into the hen house with funky treads, too.

The trap door opens and i'm inserting a pole....(I know, i know, it's hard enough these days to keep "hot chicks off the pole") but i'm tryin...:D:eek:
Actually i hadn't made the ladder ramp at the time of the pic. Also they will have an 8' long run, as wide and high as the base and the sides of the base will also be enclosed and that is where they will feed.
Scott....whadaya mean? It looks straight to me....but then again i got crooked eyes:rolleyes:
