My z zero plate is not working. I always pre-check for a connection by touching the plate to the tool before running the z zero program. This time I got no panel light coming on. I don't remember seeing the vertical white before. Any help?

Try a ur command to reset your machine go through the setup and see if that helps.

before you do all that you might go and shut down computer, shut down control box THEN go and turn the circuit breaker that controls your bot. The idea is that sometimes stuff gets clogged up in your memory and the only way to clean it out its to disconnect the box from your power to drain the memory.:D

Try Jack's solution first, then check continuity along the wires. A break in a wire is an easy thing to fix.

Make sure that the bit is clean. I have had buildup before that will stop the connection to the zero plate

Had a friend in Oz that had a bad wago connection. he eliminated the wago altogether.
Also read a while ago that others have had to scuff their plates with 220G occasionally--I'd remeasure plate thickness afterwards to make sure it was same as entered in setup.

I followed Sean's advice and tried Jack's suggestion first, then I found where the ground wire broke off the X axis rail.
Turns out input#1 is for the plate
#3 is for the limit switches, and the vertical line is normal when they are off the stops.
Thanks for the help all.
