Is it possible to create the tool path for the face of a cylinder in vcarve pro?
I want to make a bbq grill, looking at the front
Thanks

Can you sketch what you need? Is that a half cylinder?

If V-carve pro has 2 rail sweep ability (I use another program) then it can be done quite easily. The issue will be the overall size and what material you can cut that will stand up to the heat!

VCarve doesn't have a two rail sweep (or any other modelling capabilities) those features are in Aspire.

Is there a fluting "gadget"?
Maybe even the one in the control software could do it.

Thanks for trying Dave - you did say due to overall size - it will be about 16" wide and 4" tall - just thought it would be nice to hang bbq tools from - I will try it in 2D
Thanks to all

That was my question, too. A wooden grill enclosure might turn quickly into a disposable smoker.
