Gert…
It looks like it would make me a fine new spine! Either that or a lamp gooseneck…

I see, that clamp gave it away. Yes, working on a desk lamp. Will see if I can do the electrical stuff tonight. I may still need to tweak the design and add a 3rd wire as "back muscle".

But I could use a new spine as well.

G.,
The machining on that is way cool. Keep up the great work and keep posting pics.

Thanks G. :)
Does look like if it had a few servo's it would make a nice exo-skeleton:)
Or a crazy spinal Shiatzu massager--Needs a heating element though:)

I was just reminded that I have not finished all the bowls for Christmas yet.

I guess I have to put the Spinal Lamp on the back burner for now.

what did it for me was the ball interfaces with mating sockets and then the significantly sized tensioning nut and cable. That, and then I looked backward and saw the flat components and thought :"That must be a clamping base or something..."

However, you had better get after making some bowls!!!!

I do believe that is exactly what the proctologist used the last and final time on me!!!
