Hello
I always "stick" my wood when stacked and leave it for at least a week in my shop to acclimate but at times when carving deep relief cuts across an entire piece, I still tend to get some cupping. I've started creating a relief pocket on the rear of the wood when anticipating this--especially with cuts deeper than 1/2".
Has anyone used a different approach to dealing with wood movement after the carving is complete.
Thanks
Angelo
