Has anyone ever made their own branding iron or the end for a branding iron. Looking to machine either alum or brass and was wondering what bits and feeds and speeds people used. The size would be about 1" tall by 3" wide. Small detail so didn't know if i should use ballnose or b bit for that, never machined brass or alum like what I want to do.

To make the best of copper (Cuprum) she has a better thermal conductivity, it is better than processed. In the future it will be easier to solder to the heater. And the soldering iron with temperature control (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0&_nkw=паяльник+с+терморегулятором+&_sacat=0 ) Sorry for my language, I communicate with You through Google translator

Its now time for me to make a new iron for 2015. I used a pocket path with a 30 engraving bit. Light feeds. the one thing I did that I liked was to drill and blind tap the back so I could screw in a piece of threaded rod as a handle.
