I just bought a new PRS Alpha 96-48-6 with 220 3phase 5Hp Colombo spindle, but ran into a descrepancy in the manuals:
In the "Control Box wiring for the PRS Alpha" Manual, page 10, under the heading of "Connecting the VFD cable", it says to run the grey "VFD Logic" cable from the VFD to the Control Box and "connect the black wire to the "C1" terminal and the white wire to the "F1" terminal.
But in the spindle manual it says the OPPOSITE. In the "Colombo Spindle with Yaskawa V1000" Manual, page 5, under the heading of "Connect the VFD to the control board", for "PRSalpha control box built after 06/2014", it says "Connect the black wire to the "F1" position; Connect the white wire to the "C1" position."
I'd prefer not burning up this $2000 VFD box due to incorrect wiring, so can anyone kindly tell me... what is the correct configuration of the black and white wires within the F1 and C1 terminals?
Thank so much!
Kevin
