Stefan…
This rendering is a combination of prism cuts, V-carving and pocketing.
The key is to use a “normal” vector for the first names and a welded vector of the first and last names for the lower level. This “protects” the first names from damage when you go after the last name…
Let me know if this gets you headed in the right direction or if you’d like more info (after the Super Bowl).

Stefan, Just a link to add some basics to what Steve said;

Can get tricky when you first start, but keep trying until preview shows you're good.
Believe it or not, I finally got this "Putz" right, but these show 2 common mistakes from deselecting "Not enough/Too much" before welding.
Keep trying:)

I finally get a chance to play with the overlayed text some more....it has been a busy year so far.
My sample file....welding 2 "R's" together 1 cut at .100 deep the 2nd cut at .200 deep. I'm having trouble with the deeper R getting it to weld together properly.
thank you for your time and help!

Looks like a 3d sign with no inlays. Check out the lettering at the bottom of the panel
