cut out of small letters

I am trying to cut out small letters in a script font that I can then glue onto another piece of wood
Any suggestions of font and tool to use
letters are approximately 1.5" Height

Try 1/4" end mill or use 1/8" if you need tighter corners. Its best to cut these in a pocket and then cut them off in the bandsaw. We have one member here lost the end of a finger cleaning up in a router! Much safer using the bandsaw method. If you pocket the main sign you will get a really crisp sign and its darn easy to to!
