Z-Axis will not zero

This was the start of my problems...

"Z did not make contact for some reason..going to close." This is the message I got after trying to zero my Z axis.

I checked the thickness of my plate and it still is .121" as my digital calipers show but the spindle comes down and stops then this pops up.

Any help would be much appreciated.

“Did not clear” oh, I thought you said in your other thread that it didn’t contact…
Possibly your wires for the Z-zero plate and ground have been reversed… If the ground clamp is actually the z-zero plate wire, it’s connecting through the machine and not clearing…

Never mind...I reset all the Unit Values to what the factory defaults...that fixed it! Thanks to all that responded.
