A Retail customer of mine called me yesterday with a last minute rush job for a trade show he is attending tomorrow.
- He emailed logo and I sent it to the printer immediately.
- The print sat overnight for proper outgasing to occur
- This morning ran it through laminator, then thru vinyl cutter for circle cut in vinyl
- Put a sheet of 3mil Sintra on shopbot, turned on newly finished vac hold down. held sheet at 7hg and cut at 3ips ms
- Removed excess vinyl from circle and slit the middle of print with the Vescom slitting tool and hinged it from the center like I would do with a vehicle wrap and squeeged it down.
He will be here at 1:00 to pick it up. I had no design time in this, just production. About 45 minutes with NO interruptions.
I will sometimes lock my front door and do nothing but production work when I get too backed up with this type of stuff. My phone number is on my front door, and I always encourage customers to email or text me. I can get back to 5 customer emails in the time I can sell one that comes into my front door. (I can sometimes get long winded though.....)
