Anyone near Santa Rosa, California?

I would like to meet other shopbot owners in my area (Sonoma and Napa Counties) who would allow me to visit their shops to check things out.

Also, does anyone in my area offer training either in their shop or mine? On the Desktop would be my preference.

I live a couple of hours away from Santa Rosa in Camino, Ca., which is about 8 miles east of Placerville up highway 50. I have a PRS Standard 48x48 and do some 3d work but mostly 2d. I use Sketchup & Aspire.

Sounds like a road trip may be in order. My partner and I actually trailer camp a lot in your area. I'll try to talk her into a pit stop if you and I can arrange a time. Any nice lakes close by?

Oh yeah. There's Sly Park (Jenkinson lake) about 6-7 miles away. Further up in the Sierras, there are a bunch of lakes (Wrights lake, Ice House Reservoir, Stumpy Meadows, etc.) but that would be a little drive.
