Yes I have searched a read the other threads about this topic. I haven't found one person who made a board like your would make an airplane wing, hollow.

Over the next few months, I am going to attempt to make a hollow core surfboard. I'm going to use the bot to make the stinger and ribs and possibly the tail and nose piece... Maybe the fins as well. The board will be made a lot like a cedar strip canoe.

We'll see how it works out...

I have a 50/50 chance right?

Over the years we have cut parts for several surfboards as you describe. The most difficult part is bending the veneer around the rails and also constructing the fin boxes. If you get those right the rest of it is relatively easy.

You have a better than 50/50 chance, you have a Bot to do the hard work.

I've seen video on youtube of someone making hollow surfboards. Pretty sure it was similar to the grainsurf link above.
