When we bought our first ShopBot ten years ago we had no idea of the things we would be using it for! It certainly gets to cut some interesting projects and does a lot more than make cabinet parts all day long.

We recently completed a "Triple Crown" princess bed for a customer. It turned out amazing, and we entered it in the Top Shelf Design Award competition for closet companies on Woodworking Network. The company that manages the competition is having a Peoples Choice award and is using Facebook as a voting tool. Voting closes this Friday April 10th, and the awards are given out at the Cabinets and Closets Exposition in Chicago next week.

To take a look at what we made on our ShopBot, and perhaps vote for us by "Liking" the photo, go to:

Support from our fellow ShopBotters is very much appreciated!

John-I like it but refuse to have a Facebook account. The things I get to do that aren't part of general cabinet box work are the most fun for me too.

Good job!!! I bet the princess you made it for is the happiest girl in town. Good luck!

How did you manage the big arch on top? Multiple pieces glued together? Another material that bends? Looks really nice man, congrats! I actually live in Chicago and probably should go to that expo to do some networking!!
