Hey Guys!

We're going to be holding a camp September 10th and 11th. Let me know what you might like to see. There's a rumor that Gordon B will be here. Contact me by phone at 802-877-3930 or by e-mail at sawdust@sover.net (mailto:sawdust@sover.net). Please put Camp ShopBot in subject matter so I will know it's not spam :-)

All Right Guys & Gals!

We have confirmed that Gordon will be here in VT doing a class on Part Wizard 2. The rest of the camp will be on holding parts in place for production, quick tips and how to repeat files and make them safe for loading.

Let me know if you are coming. Lodging information and sights to see available on request.

Randy,
Will you be able to show how you probed that multisided/shaped furniture leg which you showed down at the Jamboree?

Hmm...Multi-sided probing. Now THAT might get me to trek up to VT!

Yes Brad, I did it! I probed a highly carved leg for an 1850's chair. Not only did I probe 1 but from those files I made 28 lefts & rights. If you'd like to know more, come and see!

To the folks that were planning on attending the Canadian camp - I welcome you to come to my camp. We're only about 150 miles away as the crow flies. Let me know if you'd like to attend.

Randy,
Are you still going to do a session on Vector if enough people are interested?

Why yes, Bill! Hopefully by that time I will have their newest version. They say, they have a point cloud converter and it will take the zig zag pattern. I can't wait to get my hands on it, but I have discovered some neat tricks with version 9.4.
