I have someone who called me about rehabbing some outdoor furniture made from teak. I haven't seen it yet but sounded like there is some gluing and refinishing that needed to be done.

So because it's teak and outdoor furniture what glue would be best along with what type of protective finish to protect against the elements?

I've used Tightbond III on teak with pretty good success. As for finish, straight teak oil is good but for outdoors, if it has to last forever, good question. There's a lot of oil in teak and it may shed standard finishes.

Smith's Oak and Teak epoxy is designed just for this application. Not sure about finish.

I would use epoxy for adhesive and either Epifanes or Sikkens (available at pretty much any marine supply store) for finishing.
Besides any damage repair, cleaning is important.
