I was making some drawer fronts today I just wanted to cut an angle on the face of the drawer front. I installed insert that came with my saw angled my blade and didn't like what I saw. The fence was close enough to the blade that the drawer front would fall into the hole in the insert.
I remembered a zero clearance tape I bought for my chop saw and tried that it worked better than I could of wished for. The 2 pictures
show how it looks. I bought this tape at wood craft supply 5 strips for 6.00 it works great. You never know when you might need an instant zero clearance insert for your saw.
This made the process much safer than not having a zero clearance
plate.
