I need to cut out pieces from 1/4 inch plywood. I understand that a compression bit is recommended however I don't know which one to buy. Can someone tell me an exact part number of a compression bit that works great for cutting 1/4 inch plywood? Please let me know the part number and where I can buy it. Thanks.

David...
Even the upcut portion of a mortise compression bit tends to be ¼” … to get the benefit of up and down cutting, you’d have to cut a good ways into your spoilboard. If you’re ok with that, here’s one to consider… https://www.centuriontools.com/router-bits-toolcase/solid-carbide-wood-router-bits.html?sku=14CR21.02.5FEM200&pcn=Compression%20Routers&pid=734&sat=1

A better way is to use a downcut on a "clean" spoilboard.
3/8" stock is pretty much the minimum for practical cutting with a mortise. compression bit.
Not to say it's impossible, it just isn't worth it. As long as you have a clean spoilboard you won't get any more bottom tearout from a good sharp downcut.

Even the upcut portion of a mortise compression bit tends to be ¼” This is incorrect
If you need 1/4" mortise compression single flute with .175 upcut then Onsrud 60-111
for 1/4" 2 flute with upcut of .188, Onsrud 60-113
for 3/8" 2 flute with upcut of .188, Onsrud 60-123
3 flute 3/8" and 4 flute 1/2" will take you to .200 upcut

Steve, you might get yourself a catalog, available in hard copy or download pdf from onsrud.com, you will find the production catalog under the resources page, or if ordering tooling from us, request one be included with your order.

I think this is the best way to handle this. Thanks for the tip.
