Tiling a Project - Wednesday July 22nd 1:00pm - Online Training

Hello everyone,
We hope your summer is going well! There are times when we need to cut projects that are larger than our ShopBots table size. Using the Tile Toolpath function in the Vectric software cutting larger pieces of material is something that can be done. I will walk through step by step from setting up the file, demonstrating on a ShopBot Desktop and sharing tips/tricks that we have found useful.

The lesson runs about 45 minutes followed by a 45 open Q & A session.

Can you spend a minute explaining the setup that was used in this pic to do your chairs using 1/4 sheets on the Desktop?
Also, In file Bill Young posted for Desktoppers for his Wedging Spoilboard for us....There's a long piece I always assumed was meant to have 2 cut, and then used as tiling index? Was that used in the pic?

Scott, I was not at that show and I have never used Bills tiling index jig, you are going to have to contact him for that information. Sorry I cannot be more help with that.
