This is our 5th annual Michigan Camp and is one of our best, with 50-70 people every year! Our host is Maker Works, the maker space in Ann Arbor. New this year will be demos done during the morning meet & greet and during/after lunch, including some plastic cutting and aluminum.

Camp ShopBots are a great way to meet other ShopBot users, to learn new techniques, and share tips on pushing your machine (and yourself!) to new levels. Camps feature topic-based presentations, a Show and Tell session that anyone can participate in, and great conversation.

Schedule: Saturday, September 26
8:30- 9am: Meet & Greet with light refreshments and Demos on a Desktop spindle and PRS standard
9:15am- Noon: Morning presentations
Noon-12:30pm: Lunch
12:45- 1:30: Demos
1:45pm- 4pm: Afternoon presentations
Camps usually end around 4:30pm

Camps are FREE to attend and lunch is included. They are intended for all ages and skill levels. Teachers and their students are highly encouraged to attend! Camps are sponsored, organized and lead by ShopBot.

*AND REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PROJECTS FOR THE SHOW AND TELL SESSION! Whether it is a ShopBot-made jig, test piece, prototype for a new product about to launch or sculpture piece, you are encouraged to bring a ShopBot-made project. It is always interesting to see in-person all the techniques for which a ShopBot can be used. And Maker Works has lots of room should you wish to bring a larger project to set up.

See you there!

Address: 3765 Plaza Dr. Ann Arbor 48108 https://goo.gl/maps/Yw8VL

What to bring: Safety glasses: A notebook or tablet computer is sometimes helpful to take notes.
