This a mahogany door it was large 40 by 80 the door was squared on the bot . Clear coat was General it burns off I've used spar unless your willing coat to every year but doesn't last in my neck of the wood .Did I mention sideways rain with salt

The above door I will coat next year and every 4 to 5

Also we used it on the doors at the shop where we tested over 8 year the doors are due for a coat what i love about it burns off not peel .Also look to the left you will see how close I'm to the ocean

Very nice! Thanks for the tip on the varnish. I'm wondering how it does with the sun beating on it.

It's too blinkin cold up there though...Hopefully you've either made enough mistakes & have a good scrap pile, or you've got your wood split already. Winter's on it's way!

Brady the best part it burns off the shop is southern exposure direct sun .We are not that north compare to Edmonton .Yes I used spars this job below 15 years ago nightmare

Its expensive to keep extior wood looking new there no way around it [ you need customer to understand matiance to protect your butt].Yes proven track record
