Hello again! I am having a pretty annoying issue. The Z axis is input one so when the metal and clip come in contact input 1 on the command console lights up but very often the inputs 2 and 3 are lit up for me and it wont let me zero Z. Usually if I restart the machine I can then zero Z and run what I need but the issue is becoming more frequent.

The image with input 1 lit up is normal and I can zero my Z axis when it is lit

The other image happens quite often and it will not zero Z when 2 and 3 are lit it will keep trying to push the bit through the metal.

Austin,
Haven't had that one happen myself, and you'll probably get an answer from somebody first, but...
Get machine and computer up and running, and with a full charge on your phone, call Tech Support and they'll get you straightened out:)

I figured that would be the answer. I just wanted to see if anyone has had it happen and knew a solution first ;-) thanks

What happens when you type in VN and turn off limits (first thing in list) ? Do the #2&3 lights go out?

They did go out and 1 came back on.

Check for a loose connection at the terminal block in the control box - input 2, 3 & Gnd.

Sometimes the control card flakes out and these lights come on for no reason.

You want to make sure that you aren't sitting on any of the targets when you Zzero, including the one on the Z if equipped.

Your best bet is to call SB Support and see what they recommend. You could have an issue covered under warranty - or they could suggest a solution that I didn't mention.
