I have a full 4g box from SB, updated the software and box to the newest version and MO M0 mo m0 does nothing. The only way to turn the motors off is the switch on the front of the controller. Am I doing something incorrect?

I also cannot move by changing position in relative or absolute. It immediately says I have a limit switch hit and I have no switches. I can move it around with the keypad though.

All the keypad arrows move the machine in the wrong direction. I would assume I have to move a couple of wires? I have 4 wire connections.

Finally I have a Logitech Rumblepad 2 and it is installed, but it does nothing for the SB. I found a thread with a small file that I am supposed to rename shopbot.xml and import it into the rp 2 software, but the software I found online only allows me to calibrate it. I am running in XP.

Thanks.

First you need to take each thing separately. You can change the direction of the motors in the software. The limit switch you will need to go into values and shut off limit switches. As for the motors running all the time I would call shopbot.

Did you load the firmware using the UI command? This has to be done first. Then run UR and select PRT 4G from the Older ShopBots folder. I'd recommend v3.6.46 to get up and running. 3.8.x brings nothing new to the table for your machine.

MO doesn't work on the 4G+ machines. It is vestigial.

VN - Turn limits off.

Rumblepad = problems. I would recommend a Logitech mk320 bluetooth combo for maximum reliability.

I have already updated the controller firmware and loaded 3.8x. Will it be a problem going back to 3.6?

No, but you have to UI again so it matches the version.

I tried going back to 3.6x but after uninstalling 3.8x program and driver and installing 3.6x I could not upgrade (or downgrade) the box because SB UI could not detect the usb. When It asked me which printer port it was on, I found the hub in device manager, but there were not any ports I could plug into SB UI. I went back to 3.8x which detects ind installs perfectly.
