NEVERMIND! I copied the Shopbot.dll file over the old one and it fixed the problem.
If I create a multiple pass toolpath, it will run fine.
I want to cut a total of 1.06 deep in 4 passes, so the cutting file does this in 4 passes each 0.265 deep - no problems.
As soon as I create tabs on that toolpath, when I create the cutting file the first plunge of the Z does not go to the correct depth.
I've done this countless times before and never had this problem, so I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what I might have changed to cause this. The tool library has the bit correctly defined. I'm going to try re-installing the Shopbot driver for Signlab to see if that does anything.
I normally create tabs on my toolpaths by double clicking the toolpath, add a node where I want the tabs, then right clicking the node I select the tab icon. In that menu you can set up the tab height and length. All this sets up normally but when the cutting file is saved, the Z depth for the first plunge into the material is not right. It will be over .5 inches deep.
Going crazy here trying to figure this out...
