Precise bits no longer supports the 890 series and I could really use a 1/8 th collet are there any options out there. I'm a little hesitant to use adapter sleeves. Thanks

Use a stubby collet chuck (http://www.shopbotblog.com/2006/01/just-a-little-bit/).

I have had no problem with these

I use a bit of Locktite blue on the 1/8 inch bits.

The collets from PB work fine on that router, call up or email the guy.

I saw what is written on his site, more of a caveat than anything.

The issue is that the chuck appears to have changed on newer 890 routers. They don't have enough threads to get more than about a half turn on the nut. If you have an older one it shouldn't be an issue.

For obvious reasons I will not comment on the other products mentioned as I am biased. Just wanted to clear up any confusion.

Please let me know if there is anything I can help with.
