Sanding options

I am cutting out some letters and monograms, and need to do some finish sanding on the interior of letters and such.

Right now I use a dremel tool to sand the interior, but that is a bit time consuming. Anyone have suggestions on other sanding methods that might be quicker and still do a good job?

this has the potential to be a great thread. What material and how thick would be good information to start out with. I spend too much time sanding a I usually underestimate this aspect of a project. Bob

I've never tried this idea but intend to. Small sand blast cabinet with air pressure adjusted fairly low and a good fine abrasive compound might work. Esp. If you used a vinyl mask and left it in place.
