I am trying to assemble my 8ft Powerstick to my Buddy frame and seem to be having a lot of trouble. My model Buddy had the aluminum table and thus, I had to get the installation kit that includes the cam handle and roller balls on the two aluminum bars which mount to the frame rails of the machine. Having mounted all as it seems to have to go, my pinion gear does not make full sideways engagement with the rack gear on the Powerstick. It is a good 1/4" short. The gear wheel is already to the end of the motor shaft. Can I loosen the gear and slide it out on the shaft and make full contact with the rack, or should I leave it where it is and keep full engagement with the shaft? The Powerstick is as close to the motor that it can get without hitting the motor mount. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, joe
