We just got a 32" Buddy this year. I have just started get it up and running. It came with partwork v2, 3d and Carving Quick Start. I have been looking for some lesson plans that I can use with my students as we both learn how to use this new machine. I would love to find a shop teacher in my area, that is using one, so that I could pick thier brain. I am in Massachusetts.

go to Vectric software and look at the V Carve pro tutorials. V Carve pro is the same software as Part works

Michael,

I'm sure some of the teachers will jump in, but if you're near Boston and want to find someone locally, Chris Connors is a teacher at Duxbury HS and also writes for the Make Magazine blog...he just posted info on getting started with Sketchup.

The FabLab at South End Technology Center has a ShopBot and runs programs for kids including the "Learn 2 Teach, Teach 2 Learn" program...they might be a good contact.

Think software in these is a little dated but:

Also contact Bill Palumbo, He holds some camps for teachers each year and should be able to put you in touch with other teachers.
