When I unpacked my Standard 48 a few months ago I found a 1 inch deepwell 1/2 inch drive socket in one of the boxes. For the life of me I can't find anything on the Buddy that takes a 1" socket. Anybody have a clue?
Mike
I believe that's for the three nuts on the vertical bolts up inside the legs that set the leveler feet.

When I got my buddy this spring, I wondered the same thing... never did find anyplace on the bot to use it, so it went into my tool box. At over $8k that was the most expensive socket I ever bought <smile>

Well, I guess it's up to ShopBot to answer the question. I'm with you David, that's definately the most expensive socket in my tool box!!

The correct deep well socket is 15/16", sorry about that. Contact me, Info or Tech Support and we'll send you the correct socket...free!

Gary,
Forget it! I appreciate the reply but I already had the correct socket in my tool box, just wanted to know what it was for since it didn't seem to fit anything. I certainly don't need another rarely used socket in my tool box. Thanks again.
Mike
