I have had to remove the walnut Backscratcher from our web site to give me time to catch up with my orders. I am still having trouble keeping glued up panels so that I can cut horse head cutting boards. This only goes to prove that if you find the right products for your area or for the market and the price is right you can sale a ton of products. all of this cuts with the cnc. One of the reasons the HorseHead cutting board took off is that we are in the American Saddle Breed's Catalog.

I have a place that can glue up panels and surface them if I need. I had a guy call me to cut 3000 to 5000 cutting boards a month.

not sure. he was in oregon and waned it local. but I think the volume was mroe then I could manage. very simple shapes it seems like but the company that was doing it was upping the price they did it all glued and milled all the wood and cut them too. I doubt I could come close to the price he wanted and I could nto manage the wood. the milling along would take a good work force because he was doing over 100,000 boards a year.

Was inquiring on the person that you said could do the glue ups. (what you said...I have a place that can glue up panels and surface them if I need.)

There's an outfit that glues 1" square cutoffs and sells the stuff by the gobs.
They use hot glue, the brown stuff. I saw the video.
I must have seen the website via the forum here, I just can't for the life of me remember where it was or what.

If I recall correctly, they made butcher block tops to size, and just did the glueing up of shorts to keep the guys busy when it got slow and to keep it green.
It sure seemed that way, because the stuff they sold was very, very fairly priced.
Someone here will surely remember...
