I just receiver two (Free) 10" X 10" X 3/4" samples of Signfoam from Sign-arts Products www.signfoam.com. One is marked RPU 4000-18 and the other RPU 4000-15. Both are SF4 microcell what ever that means. Anybody have more info on this material. the good, bad, and the ugly? also how to protect if used outdoors and cutting speeds relative to like cutting hard woods. I'm guessing the cost at around $30 per sq foot which may seem expensive but if it machines faster than some of the more expensive outdoor safe woods then it may be a good bet to use. Biggest down side for me is it requires paint and I sort of like wood grain and stain but still worth testing and considering for certain projects; if it cuts fast and clean of course.
