Or any of the great problem solvers here who can relate.
My wife keeps the bathroom vanity covered in small appliances: flat iron, curling iron, blow dryer. These things drive me crazy teetering on the edge of the sink and constantly falling on the floor. Stepping on the ends at night on the way to the toilet is always awesome.
I'm looking for a safe way to store these things safely, yet be easy to access. I know many of you experience the same thing and have managed to use your bot to come up with something clever.
Thanks in advance.

Remove or modify a drawer front - leave the drawer intact for a pull-out shelf.

Drill holes in the drawer bottom for tool grommets. If you can get power down there then you don't have cords any more.
If no drawer exists you can also just put a slide out tray below.
Easiest solution is an external mounted rack near the outlet, like in hotels.

A picture of what you have now would really help

Attach a short piece of cord to each item with a loop at the end. Might have to drill a hole or two.
Hang the items from a fairly high hook or bracket mounted to the bathroom wall or ceiling.
Some sort of band is needed to organize the electric cords.
Tell you wife how sweet she is and how you are just trying to be helpful.
No ShopBot needed for this one...

Here is my solution. This is for a free-hanging sink cabinet but could be modified for a regular standing cabinet.
The toothbrushes and the hair drier are in that little rack hanging off the side. All the cords are plugged into a strip mounted out of sight to the cabinet bottom.
I added 4 mushroom shaped thingies (I believe they are intended to be door knobs) to wrap the excess cable of the fixed position chargers. Rope cleats would work as well.
Obviously that does not work with the hair drier and this cable is still dangling, but still out of the way.

You can also buy (from several sources) various sized stainless steel "cups" - spun vessels that are inexpensive and have a rolled lip. Cut an opening and drop them into a stand or vanity top.
I have one beside our counter that my wife can put her flat iron, curling iron and hair dryer in, without me worrying about a fire or other damage.

You can also buy "salon grommets" made for hair salons.
Google it if you want to go that way. Many sources.

Thanks for the ideas, guys. I keep forgetting to snap a pic before I leave the house every day. What I have is just a dual sink vanity. Her side is close to the door in a corner. There is about an 8" gap between the end of her side and the side wall. I did it that way so it would look more like a piece of furniture. Anyway, that's where here ever-full garbage can lives, and that area would be best to use for the solution.
I really like the spun stainless cup idea. You could throw the still warm appliances in there safely. I'm sure she is going to want to be able to hide everything for when company comes over, though.

Its happened to me enough times... - I get home, go to have a shower and I find my wife's iron, still hot, in the SS can. No worries about starting a fire, as the metal can dissipates the heat.
