What is the best way to convert this picture to a file that I can 3D carve on my shopbot.
I currently have vcarve pro.

Thanks Mike

Michael…
The best way to convert your drawing to a 3D file is to pay a skilled person to do it for you! It’ll be the cheapest and best method by far, and you’ll still have your sanity afterward!
VCP can import and even manipulate to a degree a 3D file, but you can’t create the file without Aspire or another 3D creation software package. Since you’re asking, I assume you don’t have 3D design skills… there is a learning curve!
VCP will let you create a V-carved file from your image, see attached.
If you enjoy a challenge and don’t have any time or cash constraints, dive in with both feet and see if this is how you want to spend your time, Good Luck!

If it doesn't have to be that specific image that someone needs to model from scratch then you might go look on ebay for something similar. I have bought things from $2.00 to $20.00 and it is really nice stuff.

look up 3d model stl to start
