Dr said bedrest until my big toe heals, so bored out of my skull this past 8 days.
THEN remembered that it was "No socks,no boots, keep exposed to air, AND keep foot as high as heart"
Took my Monoski ski pole(basically a Lofstran crutch with a ski on the end) and strapped it to my chair upside down so foot rests on ski.
Cut a batch of prototype Maine keyrings in Bloodwood Dad's been bugging me for.
Good thing I stretch, but still feel like I've been in advanced yoga position for hours:)
Time to do actual bed rest and after 6 hours like this I won't complain.
Nice to cut!!

On the machine with no sanding or oiling.
33 out of a $10 4X24X.25 blank with guaranteed $6 wholesale price if she likes them:)
Still need to find an upscale split ring as she said she'd go as High as $8.

I'd have trouble maintaining that position, Scott. But I admire your determination.

That was the first thing i thought and was going to say till i scrolled down to see someone beat me to it. What i like to see is that it doesn't take BIG projects to make money you probably make as much as most per square inch. I admire your tenacity!

Scott, you're amazing! Great job on the key chains. Your buyer should love them.

Thanks all!
Stiff as heck today, but that was 6 hours straight. 2 hours at a time today with a rest break seems about right.
What! No "blushing" emoticon:)
Oh Steve, that was pocketed with that same MillMonster .125 60 degree you have at 10% stepover and same speeds. CLEAN with no sanding required:)
Mom just dropped by and said she'd buy one for $12(and she's as stingy as me), so that's a good sign.
Now to find either a mini-carabiner or a little different high end split ring I like.
scott
Yep Jack, we try to price at $120 per machine hour as a rule of thumb, as when it comes off the machine we're not quite half done.

Since gold split ring would be way too much how about these:

Cheap and nice looking.
They have little carabiners, figure 8 split rings too.

THANKS Dave!
Made in the US is a big deal to me.
Kinda liking the 4" Stainless ball chain as Camden is a working seaport.
Bookmarked!
