This is more than likely buried in the archives, for one I cant find it, so I'll ask again in case things have changed.
I have a BT32 with a spindle, Can I set it up to switch off the spindle after the file has run, do I need to install the spindle speed control card?

Check out the "SO" command in the command reference. You should have one at the top of every file like "SO,1,1" to turn the spindle on. The one at the end would be "SO,1,0"

Essentially, it says "SWITCH OUTPUT" and "switch 1" and either "1" for "on" or "0" for "off".

So I presume I would need a relay & connection to the controller to shut power off? My VFD & control box are not connected in any way at present.

Neville...
If the standard doesnt have the same type contactor for the spindle power as an Alpha, then you can use this to do the same job. If you get one, email me for the diagram.
