Brand new user

Hello I am making my way through the setup but am having trouble getting my machine to find the x,y and z zero. I can move each axis manually either by arrow key or the on screen controls.

The limit switches are set at edge of the table and am about an 1" or so from the hard stop.
I have a PRS 96x48-8

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In VN...are your limit switches turned on?
Welcome:)

Scott I know the switch light is on and turns off when made. But I have not looked at the settings like you are showing from the VN command. I'll look at it tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply

Test the switches by bringing something metallic near them. You will see the appropriate input light up on your screen while running the shopbot control program.
If they work then your problem is software.
As you set up the control program it asks you to input what model of Shopbot you have. Did you do that properly?
Start everything up, get your cellphone sit in front of the machine and call Shopbot. They will have you going in a couple of minutes.

Okay I uninstalled the software then started from scratch - everything is fine only I discovered the Z axis motion is backwards. When I select the up arrow it move down and the down arrow is up.
Even the screen pad is the same - left a message with tech support - thanks for the replys
This is an awesome machine!
