That looks like it may be a great deal. A lot of government auctions go low.

Wish I needed another machine!!!
Now that others have figured out how to easily move these machines, South Dakota isn't tooooo far from anywhere.
Certainly will be interesting to see what the gavel price is for this machine. It looks like it was NEVER used.

I'm interested in it so I'm going to keep an eye on the auction. You mentioned that others "figured out how to easily move these machines". Can you elaborate? I'm always interested in a good method for transporting full sized gantry machines!
Thanks

Some people have bought the Harbor Freight trailer jacks and mounted them to roll up unto a trailer. I used a the three caster steel dollies under mine and used a floor crane or cherry picker hoist to lift each end and put the casters under it. Then I moved the hoist to the side of my trailer and rolled the table to the back of it and used the hoist again to lift the table high enough to back the trailer just under the table used the casters again to roll the table so i could lift the back end up onto the trailer. once on it I took it off the casters and strapped it down I also used the hoist to lift the gantry off and place it on the table bed. Hauled one 800 miles like that. and another 300 miles. I loaded both by myself and unloaded them the same way

It's a PRS Standard with 4HP HSD Spindle.

I see it says 1.7 KW that wouldn't be a 4 hp would it

A PRS Standard with what looks to be the 4G system (not the RBK drives) and a 2.2 HSD spindle. 1.7 kW = 2.280 hp

The 4G boxes look like a computer where the RBK boxes look more like the Alfa box

Yup, just couldn't see the drives behind the board. Wasn't sure if they, at one point, used the new box with the 4G board.

Sent a link to ShopBot and they told me he didn't have time to look at specifics, but the model sold for $16k. I'm interested as well. I tried to register, but I guess I didn't do something right, as I never got my email to verify my registration.....
