Purchased and downloaded file from Vectorart3d (50289S_A).
- Decompressed file
- Utilizing Aspire
- Completed Job Setup thickness of material .50
- Went to Clipart (local files)
- Selected item
- Selected toolpath 3d roughing (completed)
- Selected toolpath 3d finish (completed)
- Selected profile toolpath
- Received error message no suitable vectors selected

Looking at the pros to advise me what step or steps I'm missing.

I don't use that pgm but it sounds to me like you did not hilite and select the vectors that you wanted to run the toolpath on.
Take your mouse, draw a box around the vectors you want to make the toolpath on and then try to run toolpath.

For a 2D toolpath like the Profiling you need to have a vector selected for it to cut around. By default an imported model does not have an outline vector, you can easily create one by selecting the model and clicking on the create vector boundary icon - this icon is highlighted with an orange box in my image below. Once you have a vector you can select it, create the toolpath and preview to check your output.
Cheers,
James
