I have a friend that has moved away and has a chance to buy this bot. he is in California and I am in Oregon so I can't see it in person.
the vfd is 3phase and maybe the vacuum pump is too. the pics are not great and I can't tell what the pump is so he will check it out.
I am not sure on the pic it looks like 4” sewer pipe to maybe 1.5”? it is a 5x12 and the price is 5000 or less. the owner was willing to transport and set it up for him.
I told him he needs to get an idea of the hours on it it has been sitting around for 5 years or so as they got a new one.
he does not have 3 phase so a converter would be needed.

Looks like a PRT standard with a spindle. Spindle is Columbo (I think) and probably a 5HP but easy to tell with a close up of the units label.
I'm pretty sure the vac in those days was 15HP. Good deal for 5k delivered and set up IF it hasn't been wracked, twisted, or otherwise trashed.

I have a 2003 prt, it looks identical right down to the control box, I upgrade mine to a prs control much smoother, for 5 grand looks like a great deal.

yes thats what I was thinking. it is a big spindle bigger then needed. I told him he needs to find out what the vac setup is and how many hours if they know. Help setting it up is worth a lot my friend would be lost there. he does not need lots of speed so that should be ok. he said 3 to 5 thousand so thats good.
get this He worked for a small trade show company that I cut everything for them crazy things like cardboard with a homemade drag knife recycled plastic and such. well they went and bought a machine and they paid me to help them out and I still once in awhile cut stuff as they are only ok at running it. this guy moved and comes back to me to do jobs so this will save a lot of time.
