I had some metal ones but overloaded them and the bottoms bent and then the wheels would not swivel. they were not really very heavy duty enough. the larger ones was my first one sheet of 3/4" pre finished plywood (man that stuff sucks) that a customer left years ago. a lot more work to make but it takes a lot less plywood to built it like this. some scrap baltic birth plywood for the struts and some decoration. good wheels makes it really nice. I used the aluminum handle just because I had it on hand.
the second is the way I like best it is easy and fast but it took a sheet of 4x8x1/2" baltic and plywood for the shelves. I used cheap on the bottom and some bamboo on the top. more good wheels and the last of the aluminum I had to make those rings because it was a bit short. I drill through the bottom into the aluminum and add a screw to keep it from spinning.

the sad part is it is sometimes cheaper to buy them rather then make them if you use good materials.
