Wire got ran over by a roller

So we ran over the coiled wire for the zzero plate a while back and now we'd like to replace it. I'm sure I could ask Shopbot but they have much more important matters to attend to:). Does anyone know what gauge it should be or what an acceptable replacement would be?

Just strip the ends and twist em up.

We did that here too.
