I have had my desktop for 5 years now (not used alot of hours) & this is the 1st time I have had this problem.
I am attempting to cut a simple V-Carve sign for my granddaughters room. It is just a text and simple V Carve. Something I've done many times prior.
However, after zeroing X,Y & Z and attempting to run the file, my desktop spindle goes to X, Y, & Z zero, but then immedietely takes off in the -X direction and runs into the left part of the machine (I stop it by hitting the space bar). I've tried it with two different laptops & have resaved the file in Aspire, but it continues to happen.
The only other thing I can think of that happened is that I purchased a bumpbar at the McGrew camp this year and it has worked fine until today. While I was zeroing the machine, it lost connection and stopped. Anyway, I re connected the USB and everything seemed to be working fine. I know I am zeroing X,Y & Z as I have done it several times after the above and the control software shows appropriately.
Any Ideas?
