Forescolor (color MDF) [Archive]

Looking at a new (to me atleast) product called Forescolor.

The manufacturer describes it as an evolution of MDF :)

Basic description is MDF that is dyed colors. I have a sample pack from them, and I like it except some of the colors are not as vibrant as I had hoped.

Anybody know of another solid color material that is wood / MDF based?

Years ago I got samples of what was then called Valchromat. It appears to be the same product as forescolor.
I also thought the color was dull in appearance but I found that it brightened up when clear coated in a glossy clear finish.

Googled Valchromat and when I go the USA site it takes me to Forescolor website, so it looks like it's the same product.

I'd pick up a sheet to play with but they are about a 2.5 hour drive one way for me to get.
