Anyone have advice on how to post decent size pics? The above pic was 1068x720 at 72 pixels/inch, and was downsized when uploading to something like 362x272. What am I doing wrong? I notice others get much larger pics to post.

I use Irfanview to resize all my large Canon pics to this size, and it usually eats the landscape views.
Portrait view needs the next size down.

What specifically is irfanview doing that allows such a large pic to be posted. I'm starting out with a smaller pic than your reduced one, and it's not allowed. My 1068 x 720 is getting cut down to 362 x 272. The forum pic loader seems to be cutting it down automatically.

Also, is there an equivalent processor for mac?
