Just made up this table, I put a wedge design to hold on the top the whole table can be taken down and set up without tools.
It will make going to shows with more tables a bit easier and shipping too.
with the top wedges gently tapped in the table is very solid

Very nice! And timely for me as I’m working on a trestle table now and trying to decide how to removably-attach the legs!
Do your vertical members seat in a socket?

Steve, I am note sure what you mean, the base is tenoned to the verticals and the top uses the 45 degree cleat wedge system if you mean a locater socket no I did not make one for this table the 45 degree rails are the same length on the top and base they just line up flush.

Are dowels on the French cleats on the legs all the way through and extending a little into the cleat on the bottom of table top for indexing?
Hadn't though of wedging a French cleat... Lots of surface area:)
Butterflies 3/4" stock?
