Today I spent some time building the vac manifold and hook up the table. The table had four zones when I bought it, I just wanted to re-plumb it to get the valves out on the edge of the table, so I wouldn't have to crawl under the table to open/close the valves. I went with sliding gate valves for a couple reasons. #1 More compact #2 easier to place under the table.

I had a friend, who is more of a plumber than I, come by to help me figure out the basic design. I wanted the manifold to not intrude in the workspace and be more hidden. I think I succeeded.

Vac system looks good.

I am sort of a "one big simple zone" type.. with the valves / pieces of vinyl / on the unused top of the table.

Anyone other western Kansas botters out there ???

Not that I know of Curtis. We had a ShopBot at school when I was teaching, The new guy isn't as in to it as I.
