I finally decided to get rid of the roots blower vac pump that I built a few years ago (3hp/240V Harborfreight induction motor and a Buick roots supercharger with vac reservoir and regulator on a skid). Max flow is (IIRC) 60-80 cuft/min and max vacuum 12 inches. I used it a few times and it works well but is very noisy and will have my neighbors come after me with pitch forks. After sitting that long idle and taking space it is time to go. I found that a low volume, high vac quiet GAST type pump fits my needs better, anyway.
I tried to sell that thing on Craigslist but apparently this is too specialized and had no bidders. I don't want to do eBay and crate and ship this heavy beast.
So, any Shopbotter in the SoCal area interested? Please PM...Free for anybody who comes along with a pickup truck.
